EXPRESS polyurethane rapid adhesive is used to fasten EPS, XPS, PUR and cork insulation panels and boards to most building materials, including metal sheets, when insulating containers or garages. The roduct is recommended for mounting wall panels, polystyrene panels, window sills, stairs, filling gaps in thermal insulation, as well as for mounting plasterboards and OSB panels to walls and floors. Express dhesive can also be used to fix blocks made of ceramic, cellular concrete, silicate when making bathroom cubicles, e.g. bathtubs, shower trays and partition walls. Polyurethane adhesive shows excellent dhesion to concrete, ceramic and wooden substrates as well as to PVC and all kinds of foamed polystyrene, plasters and substrates with bituminous coating, roofing felt and asphalt insulation masses, sheets.
Before bonding, an overly cold glue can should be heated to room temperature (this can be done by dipping the can e.g. in warm water) and then shaken the can intensively (for approx. 30 seconds) in order to horoughly mix the ingredients. Attach the can to the spray gun and apply in the „upside down” working position. Adjust the glue flow by setting the needle or by pressing the trigger of the application gun. In case f interruption in the application for more than 15 minutes, the application gun must be secured, leaving the attached can for further use. Apply the glue to the glued surfaces with a braid with a diameter of about cm, wait about 1 minute and then connect the glued elements. Bonding should be done before 2 min, after this time the connection may be weak or the elements will not be joined. Assembly of large elements, .g. plasterboards should be done as follows, apply glue with a braid with a diameter of approx. 3 cm around the circumference of the board and zigzag through the middle of the board, wait 1 min and connect he glued elements, The glue must cover more than 5% of the surface of glued boards. Depending on the external conditions and the weight of the fixed panels, after bonding , hold them together for about 1 inute, pressing the glued element to the ground. After finishing work, clean the spray gun with a cleaning agent, e.g. Expert Line Cleaner.
