Polyurethane adhesive is used for attaching polystyrene panels for thermal insulation of external walls of buildings using the non-interlocking method (ETICS), polystyrene cassettes, wall panels, installation of window sills, filling gaps in thermal insulation and in thermal insulation systems of basements (foundations) using extruded polystyrene (XPS) panels and expanded polystyrene (EPS).
Polyurethane adhesive exhibits excellent adhesion to concrete, ceramic, wooden surfaces, as well as PVC and all types of polystyrene, plaster and surfaces with bitumen coating, tar paper and asphalt insulation compounds. After 2 hours of bonding, pre-curing is achieved allowing the continuation of work on sanding and studding the boards or securing the abutments. The polyurethane bond is fully cured after 24 hours.
